Essential qualifications for the BC Skilled Immigration streams

  • A genuine full-time job offer (exception – International Post-Graduate, BC Degree Category). The following variables establish the employer’s legitimacy:
  • The company must be located in British Columbia.
  • The completion of an employer declaration
  • Having a positive employer reputation in British Columbia
  • Offering a full-time work for an indefinite period of time
  • Having a positive work history
  • Providing a competitive wage
  • Supporting the needs of the domestic labor market (if needed)
  • Candidates must fulfill the basic criteria of the respective stream.
  • The remuneration must be comparable in the province of British Columbia.
  • Language test results must be submitted by candidates. It is dependent on whether the occupation is listed in National Occupational Classification B, D, or C.
  • The job must benefit British Columbia’s economy.
  • The employment cannot impair the training or employment of permanent residents or Canadian citizens.

Eligibility requirements for Entrepreneur Immigration

Candidates applying for the Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional Pilot Program must meet the following requirements:

 

  • Level 4 CLB in either French or English
  • Make at least one new full-time work offer.
  • At least $ 300,000 in net value
  • Have at least a 51% stake in the proposed business.
  • At least $100,000 in valid investments
  • A visit to the chosen community

How to Apply for BC PNP?

There are two ways to apply for the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP).

1st Pathway

1: Review the eligibility requirements.

2: Research immigration programs in British Columbia.

3: Eligible applicants are then invited to submit an EOI (Expression of Interest).

4: The province will review the profile.

5: If you are chosen, you will receive a provincial nomination.

6: To obtain permanent residence, you must first build an Express Entry profile.

7: Upload the required credentials into the Express Entry system

Pathway 2

1: Determine your eligibility for Canada Express Entry.

2: Create an Express Entry Profile

3: Submit all of your paperwork.

4: Await British Columbia’s nomination.

5: You must accept the provincial nomination (Extra 600 CRS Points)

6: Submit the EOI (Expression of Interest)

7: You will then receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA)

8: Send the remaining paperwork.

9: You will be granted permanent residency within six months.
