Essential qualifications for the BC Skilled Immigration streams
- A genuine full-time job offer (exception – International Post-Graduate, BC Degree Category). The following variables establish the employer’s legitimacy:
- The company must be located in British Columbia.
- The completion of an employer declaration
- Having a positive employer reputation in British Columbia
- Offering a full-time work for an indefinite period of time
- Having a positive work history
- Providing a competitive wage
- Supporting the needs of the domestic labor market (if needed)
- Candidates must fulfill the basic criteria of the respective stream.
- The remuneration must be comparable in the province of British Columbia.
- Language test results must be submitted by candidates. It is dependent on whether the occupation is listed in National Occupational Classification B, D, or C.

There are two ways to apply for the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP).
1st Pathway
1: Review the eligibility requirements.
2: Research immigration programs in British Columbia.
3: Eligible applicants are then invited to submit an EOI (Expression of Interest).
4: The province will review the profile.
5: If you are chosen, you will receive a provincial nomination.
6: To obtain permanent residence, you must first build an Express Entry profile.
7: Upload the required credentials into the Express Entry system

1: Determine your eligibility for Canada Express Entry.
2: Create an Express Entry Profile
3: Submit all of your paperwork.
4: Await British Columbia’s nomination.
5: You must accept the provincial nomination (Extra 600 CRS Points)
6: Submit the EOI (Expression of Interest)
7: You will then receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA)
8: Send the remaining paperwork.
9: You will be granted permanent residency within six months.
